Late-morning Akershus breakfast -- still good?

In deference to my husband's desire not to have to get up at the crack of dawn, I've changed my Akershus Princess Storybook breakfast from 8:15 AM to 10:50 AM. My other strategy was that we could still be at the rope drop at 9:00 AM and get Soarin' Fast Passes for later in the day, a tricky maneuver if you're eating breakfast in Norway at 9:00 AM!

I see that breakfast "ends" at 11:10 AM. Has anyone been that close to closing? Is the food still hot/plentiful? Are the characters worn out from three hours of smiling?

I won't cancel the 8:15 AM one until I get some feedback. :)

Thanks!

I have previously had late character breakfasts and have often found that as the restaurant slows down we've gotten more attention from the characters since there are less people. In fact, I've made a 10:40am Akershus ressie for this weekend! :goodvibes

OMGYAY!:cool1:

Thanks for this reassurance. And have a wonderful time!

I've had 10:30 breakfast ADRs at Akershus numerous times. The food has always been just as plentiful and good as earlier times. It also is less crowded inside and the princesses are able to spend more time. The only thing I notice is as it gets later they do close down 1 side of the buffet to begin the switch over to lunch items. Both sides offer the same items so no problems there. Have fun!

Thanks, nicole0992! That's great to hear. :)

My hope is that we can get FP for Soarin', see Turtle Talk with Crush, and visit the fountains at Imagination Station (the three things my DD wants to do in Future World) before we head over to the Akershus. Then we can have a very relaxed breakfast because we know all the "MUST DO" things are done!
