Late March crowds?

Only been to Universal in the Fall but will be visiting next March before a cruise. We'll be there March 30th-April 2nd, about two weeks before Easter which falls on April 16th next year. I know the Mardi Gras events will be going on, so can anyone speak to what crowd levels may be like? How about park hours? We'll be staying onsite and will have EPs.

On a related note, should we expect black outs for AAA and AP rates at the onsite resorts that time of year as well?

I would go to the park hours calendar and check last March's hours. Just keep clicking on the month on the left side until you hit March 2105.

If there are no school holidays at that time, there shouldn't be blockouts and crowds should be reasonable.
