Late lunch or early dinner before MVMCP

I am wanting some input on where to eat before MVMCP. We will be having a quiet morning at our resort (POFQ.) I've thought about taking the boat to Disney Springs for lunch at Homecoming. Have also considered a late lunch at the Wave at the Contemporary or early dinners (around 415-430) at Be Our Guest or Liberty Tree Tavern. Would like to get to MK right at 4 and don't want to waste a lot of our park time eating. Any thoughts our suggestions?

Do late lunch at the Wave and get into the park at 4 so you can do a few rides before the party.

I'd go to Disney Springs since you can boat to and from. Skip breakfast (or have it really light), do a full lunch around two and head over to MK. If you get hungry you can always pop in at Columbia Harbour House for a quick snack.

I'd opt for making lunch your main meal of the day. Personally, I'd also want to minimize transport so I'd choose something at one of the monorail resorts, time it so you're done around 3:45, and then head straight to MK.

I would do a big lunch too.

You could do a MK resort monorail tour so that would get you into the MK at 4

Nice lunch options would be Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe ,you can have photo ops with the big tree and gingerbread house there.

Usually I try to get an early adr at LTT. But we have ap's so we are already in the park before 4 anyway.

If you want to make the most of the park ticket and do rides or line up for meet and greets with the hard to find characters then get an adr for dinner as early as possible.

If you want to maximize the early park time for the party (4 - 7 pm), I would do a late lunch at a monorail resort (the Wave is great!) and then head to MK after that. I, personally found the hours between 4 - 7 pm on party nights gets very crowded as party guests begin to mix with day guests. On our party night we entered at 4 pm, rode a few things and then ate at BOG around 5:30 pm. It gave us time to enjoy MK a little, avoid the bigger crowds and then enjoy the party. Because we ate at that time, however, we didn't do any of the special meet and greets - the lines were way too long by the time we got out of dinner. So, if you are interested in getting in line for special characters, I would do the late lunch outside of MK and use 4 - 7 pm for park time. Personally, I would go to DS that day. That's a lot of traveling around IMHO and you'll need your energy for the party!

Thanks for the replies! With a choice between The Wave and Grand Floridian Cafe for a late lunch which would you choose?
