I have made (and re-made) my dining reservations for our March 2012 trip, but this one has me a little stuck. I have an 8:10am breakfast reserved at CRT and will be going back to our resort (BWV) for a break midday. Would it be better to have a late lunch (2:20pm) at Le Cellier before heading back to MK, or have an early dinner at Whispering Canyon?
There will be my mom, DD9, DS5 and me37. Thanks for your help!

I would do Le Cellier, and then maybe have a late evening quick bite at Casey's while waiting for the Parades & Fireworks.

I think considering the ages of your kids, whispering canyon would be better. they'd have way more fun. I personally wasnt fond of the food at Le Cellier to begin with....but since you have an 810 CRT ADR plus your going back to BWV for a nap, im not sure if you will have enough time to make it to Le Cellier. :confused3

I agree that your kids are more likely to enjoy the WC. Stay at MK til 1-2pm, take break, head to WC for dinner, then take boat back to MK for evening (if they are still up for it). But, depending on how you are traveling (Disney tranport or Car), you can spend a lot of time going from BWV to WL.

I think trying to make a 2:20 lunch w/ an afternoon break is unrealistic. If you have breakfast at 8:10, you will likely finish around 9:30. By the time you hit just a few attractions, it will be 12:30. It will take you close to 1 hour to exit, tram to lot, drive or bus back to BWV. You'll need to clean up and start walking around 2pm to get to Le Cellier. not much time for break.

I also agree that WCC is probably a good choice with kids. I love Le Cellier and that would be my pick for me, but the atmosphere at LC isn't as geared toward children as WCC. At WCC there is the potential for fun and games that your children might like.

Getting from BWV to WL isn't going to be the easiest with Disney transportation. You will need to either transfer buses or to a ferry, depending on the route you take. You might want to consider getting a taxi (probably about $20).

Whispering Canyon!!!
Your kids will love it--promise. It's fun, crazy and loud.
Psst--have one of them ask for ketchup :thumbsup2

LE CELLIER!!!! We've done both with our kids, and they weren't overly thrilled with WCC- as the activity going on is dependent on the staff at the time, and your actual waiter (we asked for ketchup twice and none of the hub-bub. I even ordered FOUR Diet Cokes throughout the meal to no avail).....but the FOOD at Le Cellier is not to be missed. Particularly the mushroom filet mignon with risotto and the PRETZEL BREADSTICKS before dinner. And the cheddar cheese soup. I could go on and on. Oh man, my mouth is watering. Although HUGELY hyped on the DIS, I was pretty let down by WCC.....and embarrassed that I'd built it up so much to our extended family who drove down from Jacksonville, only for their kids to refuse to eat the food. Standard BBQ fare. You can't get food like Le Cellier just everywhere you go......and my kid's practically licked their plates!

We did both on our last trip and my choice would be Le Cellier! Our DD (3) enjoyed both. Her eyes almost popped out of her head when they brought out the S'mores dessert at Le Cellier. She had fun at WC also, but the food at LC was the best of our entire trip, hands down.
