Late June/early July weather?

The previous question about the April weather made me curious about typical weather when we will be in CA.

We arrive Friday June 24-Sunday July 3rd...starting in San Diego for 5 days then off to DL for 5...thanks!!!

I'd say you have a 50% chance of sun or rain...either one or the other.

Seriously though, June seems to be pretty good on average EXCEPT for the 'June Gloom' - the entire LA area tends to start off very cloudy in early mornings during most of June. Expect temps to top out in the mid-80s.

The latter part of June doesn't have quite as much June Gloom. You're looking at probably upper 70s to mid 80s that time of year, possibly upper 80-90s at the warmest times of day in Anaheim. But, unless we're getting one of our rare humid spells, the temperature drops a lot when the sun goes down, so bring sweatshirts for the evenings. SD tends to be cloudier than Anaheim, and you may not see the sun all day. You'll want sweatshirts or jackets, and long pants for SD.
