I was going over my old Disney Stuff and last year we were down there around the same time but MK never stayed open so late. This year our first week it will be open until 10 p.m. This seems like a bad sign in terms of crowds. The second week the parks close at 7 p.m. Will the crowds really be that bad around February 21-26?

I am wondering the same thing. Everything I am reading says it is a very busy week but I actually would love to hear from someone who has actually "been there" at that time. We leave Feb 16 and return Feb 23 and Presidents day is right in the middle of our week. I am thinking it may not be so bad. Reason I say this, and I could be totally off base here but, I just called for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue and I was sure it would have been completely booked for Feb 19 which is a Saturday. All 3 shows open. Good sign? just lucky? I don't know. I also made PS for Hollywood & Vine for the Fantasmic Package on Feb 20th and got in no problem. Also booked our stay only 1 week ago no problem getting in at the POP Century.

I know that Presidents week is considered peak season, but if you keep a cool head and prepare yourself for it, you should have a fine time! :bounce:

I think travel in general has rebounded since 911 and park attendance is back where it was before the tragedy. President's week is peak season.
