Late Feb or early May

I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place, no harm in trying We are currently planning a trip for 2013 but can't decide between late Feb or early May? I have read/heard conflicting info about February and Presidents Day/week. We are a family of 5 and two of my girls are considered adults as pricing goes and we would like to stay for 12 days. My concerns are the price difference and crowds....and maybe a little with weather, we are coming from chilly Michigan I would love to hear any thoughts, I have been doing A LOT of research but would love to hear what others think Thank you!

President's Week is crowded and the weather is normally pretty mild. We go almost every year during this week. This past February was a little cold and windy and the crowds were there in force. If possible, take advantage of EMH's and sign up for touringplans.com and get a good touring plan. We also go in May every year and take our kids out of school on their last day and spend 10 days in the parks. Last May the weather was awesome and the crowds were less than February. It does get warm, but the humidity is not a factor in May. If you are looking at early May, the weather should be a little cooler than when we go and the crowds a little less. We will be there May 18th through May 28th and will take our time and do the water parks also. Hope this helps.

Early February is better in terms of crowds, IMHO, but may be a wash weather-wise (weather, of course, is never predictable anyway). On our two trips in early and mid February, the weather was mid to high 60's during the day, chillier at night. Not bad for us, coming from PA! . From President's Day weekend, the crowds start to pick up.

Early May is really nice. I think it is a great time to visit. We've hit pretty decent weather at that time.
