Late Epcot Visit - Frozen Meet and Greet?

Hi everyone! We are only doing a 1/2 day at Epcot (mostly for dinner and Frozen meet) and I am wondering if we will be there in time to meet Anna and Elsa. Originally the plan was to get there at 5pm and head straight for Norway. We then have reservations at Akershus at 8pm. Does this sound feasible or do we need to get there earlier? All these reports of super long lines are making me nervous. TIA!

Depends on the day, but the wait times are running about 2-3 hours right now.

Yesterday, one of DD's friends reported from the Anna/Elsa line: at 11:30, she and her young daughters were in line for the 3:00 meet. You may need to enter the line before 5:00 for the last meet of the evening.

I saw them last Wednesday, and arrived at rope drop. Ran straight to Norway and was able to get in line for the first M & G which was 11:00. The cut off for the 11 was about 5 families behind me. All told, I waited about 2 1/2 hours until we were standing in front of the character. By the time we left Norway (11:30-ish, the 3:00 meet and greet line was already formed.)

I went last Sunday, around 12 pm. We were in front of them around 2:15 and back outside by 2:30.

We happened to walk by on Thursday at 245. They had three more slots for 350 so I got in line. Fell asleep against one of the Norway building and woke up to the line moving. Called my wife and she brought my kids over. Saw them at 415 or so. Highlight of the trip. My daughter was enthralled and the ladies playing Anna and Elsa are fantastic.

It almost made up for the FP + debacles at MK.
