Hi - I'm signed up for the late dinner but have been thinking twice about switching to main dinner. But after reading many comments, I plan on staying in the 2nd dinner. Although, now I am wonder how the Dream schedule works? I know there is a show before late dinner. Is there a show 3 nights? Is pirate night only one night and is it 1 or 2 times a night to accommodate both seatings...... and what time is Pirate night if I am doing the late dinner - will I make it or have to rush through dinner?

I'm sure because its Disney - everything will be magically planned so we can attend everything :)

Thank you for your help and all your opinions !!

There are two performances of each night's show - one before dinner for late seating and one after dinner for early seating.

Pirate night there is an earlier deck party - between seatings if I'm remembering right - that is more Mickey and Friends, and one later before the fireworks that is more Jack Sparrow. I always have late dinner and do not remember feeling like I had to rush - but then I'm not a lingerer either.

eta: There WILL be times when you have to choose what you want to do. There is simply no way to do it all. But you will not have to choose between shows and eating.

This is exactly correct. The "main" shows each night, happen twice, once during early dinner for the late dinner folks and once during late dinner for the early dinner folks.

The Mickey Pirate party happens at like 7:30 or something so that even if you are going to one of the shows or either dinner, you can still catch it. Likewise the Jack Sparrow Pirate party happens at like 10:00 or something, so that you can see it no matter which show or dinner you have. Likewise, the pirate buffet is right after that.

But Beth is also right, there will be plenty of things you need to pick between, but dinner, the show and the pirate parties can all be done if you are so inclinded (and if you don't mind going from one to the next all night.)
