If a park closes at 8:00, why would the reservation site show a time available for 8:10? Is this incorrect? Or does the park restaurants stay open past park closing time?
OK. I think it might be possible if they have extra magic hours that night. However, I think I would call DDP and double check for your own peace of mind. Sorry, I couldn't help more.
We had a very similar ressie at 50's PTC last December. The restaurant stayed open a little later than the park, but we loved it b/c we enjoyed the entire park & leisurely walked over after park closing in time for our reservation. We weren't rush at all by our server & had an awesome dinner.
For our Disneymoon in 2002, we had a late res. for Tony's. When we arrived, they told us they were having some sort of problem and would we mind eating at CRT instead. Um... OK but only if we have to So, when we left, we were the only 2 people on Main Street. All of the lights were still on so we just walked REALLY slow to the front gate and took it all in. I'm trying to recreate the experience on our Nov/Dec trip when we take our 2 older kids (7 and 3) for their first trip to Disney. We have an ADR for CRT on 12/1 at 7:10. Also, for our first day, which will be at MK, we have an ADR at Crystal Palace before the park opens. I'm hoping that for their first glimpse of the park and castle we will at least be some of the only people in the park. There is an advantage to early and late dining.
I ask because I have a 510 reservation at Tusker House on a day that AK closes at 5. Assuming the meal takes about an hour - will there be busses to get us back to Pop?
We had a very late ressie in Epcot one night, hadn't even thought about the park closing, when we left Japan, the entire park was EMPTY! It was way cool! We've also done the segway tour before park opening, just as awesome! HAVE FUN!
