I just tried to book dinner at Tony's Town Square at MK for my son and daughter in law because DH and I love sitting on the verandah watching people, parades, etc., and find it very romantic. But all I could get was a 7:45 p.m. ressie for the night we wanted. Would you go with it or would you look for another restaurant? Wishes is at 8 that night, would they be able to see anything? I'm assuming they could finish their dinner and find the park close to empty by the time they were done, or would it backfire and find the crowds all bottlenecked at the gate and be too crowded for someone who's a little squeamish about crowds? It's a Thursday night in January so it's not a busy time anyway. It's not an EMH night at MK...will they have problems getting transportation back to AKV? TIA!!!:)

They shouldn't have problems with transportation back to the resort. As far as seeing Wishes, maybe some of the higest fireworks could be seen but not much else.
I would think if they took their time the mob of exiting people would be through by the time they left. If they like sitting outside then people watching will be in high style. :rotfl2: (people are funny trying to leave when they are all bunched together....I love to people watch)

As for trying for something else, it would depend on them. Do they like a later dinner? It is like a trade off, what is most important to them. Eating there, eating at a certain time....etc.
