late checkout?

Is it possible to have a late checkout? Is there an extra fee?

My parents flight leaves for home at 1pm so their ME bus time will be around 10:15. My flight doesn't leave til 7:45, so my ME bus time will be around 5.

It would be nice to be able to stay at the resort til 3pm if possible. While I know I can store my luggage, I'd love to wake up in the morning, head to the pool for the day and then come back and shower

DVC resorts don't allow any late checkouts, but the other resorts might allow it IF they are not booked up. As late as 3PM and you may have to pay for another night's stay. However, you can check out at 11AM and leave your stuff with Bell Services until you need to leave.

We got a late check out when we were there in March. We stayed at AKL. I asked at the front desk the night before check out and was told no. I called that morning just to double check and was told yes. I believe the time we got was either 12 or 1pm. So even if you ask and they say no I would double check that morning just in case something changes.

1) Housekeeping allows late check-outs, not Front Desk.
2) This is typically the morning of your check-out.
3) If late check-out is approved, the costs are
. . . 11:00am-1:00pm, no extra charge
. . . 1:00pm-3:00pm, up to 50% of room rack rate *
. . . after 3:00pm, up to 100% of room rack rate *

* Usually, Housekeeping will charge the room, and not the Front Desk CM's. It all depends upon availability to "ready" the room for the next guest.

We were granted a late check out at the Poly, 1PM at no charge.

We always ask for a late check out...but we do it when we arrive, an usaully have no problem. Good Luck!

We just returned from the WL and asked for a late check out, 1 pm was granted, no extra charge or fee.
