Late Check Out at POR?

Anyone able to get a late check out at POR? Our departure flight is at 8:15 pm. I was hoping to get as late a checkout as possible...I don't mind paying a fee.

We have gotten a 1pm check out for no fee, also a 5pm check out for 1/2 day charge.
You can't really find out until the night before if your room will be available for a late check out, call the front desk then.

You do know that whenever you check out, bell services will pick up and hold your luggage till midnight of that day. You can then spend the day in the parks / pool. You might want to keep a small bag with you for essentials you might need.
