Late breakfast reservations

I've read that some people have had bad experiences during late character meals. I'm planning a late brunch reservation at Goofy's Kitchen on halloween party day. The later the better, really, I'm aiming for an early nap for my 2 year old, followed by brunch. Would we be in for a bad experience? Would it be likely that we would miss out on most of the characters?

Honestly, there are only 5 characters at GK (including meeting Goofy out front). They better be having every character meet every guest regardless of ADR time.

At Plaza Inn, we schedule the latest possible breakfast, and, as the restaurant clears out, we get AWESOME character interactions. Last time, just two weeks ago, Dale the Chipmunk and Captain Hook fought each other to claim my DD8 as his own. It was fantastic. We filled up all but two pages of a brand new autograph book there.
