Late breakfast at Akershus

I had a friend recommend the last seating for the Akershus breakfast. She had a late seating one year and thought the princesses had more time to spend with her kids. If anyone has had a later seating at akershus could you let me know how it was, and how was the food? Thanks in advance

We had a late breakfast there a couple years back and I don't remember the food being old, especially since it is served family style. Our complaint was that we are very picky eaters and they started changing the cold buffet from breakfast to lunch. That is probably a good thing for most people though!
