Late breakfast ADR question - Crystal Palace

Hi all. From what I've been reading, it looks like people are having a nice meal at the last ADR for breakfast at Crystal Palace. The lunch ADR's don't start until 11:30 so I know that we won't be rushed through our 10:20 breakfast ADR. Have heard good things about the breakfasts.

What I'm wondering about is if we'd be sitting at breakfast at 10:20 when it's during prime park hours before the crowds? I would think that if we did this on an early opening day that we'd have had plenty of time to play beforehand but maybe I'm wrong? Perhaps a lunch reservation is better?

Regular opening MK (10:20 or 11:30 or later?) - planning to arrive at 9:00
Early opening MK (10:20 or 11:30 or later?) - planning to arrive at 8:00

We did a regular opening day RD @ 9 AM and a breakfast ADR @ CP for 10:30 (I think). We did have to wait about 10 min. to be seated. We could've done more before ADR, but it was Time to eat for us. After eating we used FPs we had collected before meal and then went back to resort. If it's an early opening 10:30 would be fine and then get out of the crowds. If it's regular opening it may be better to do first lunch. Depends on the hunger factor of your family too.
