We have a 10:00 a.m. breakfast time at Ohana's. Will this be too late? Will we be rushed with the characters? Has anyone ever eaten at this time at Ohanas?
While I have never eaten at this time I have heard of people who have and they did feel rushed. I think 10 a.m. is a to late for breakfast because you may not get as much interaction with the characters. If I were you I would try for someting earlier. Good Luck!
Actually.. Two trips ago.. On a whim we booked a late Ohanas. like 11ish. We didn't feel rushed at all. The restaurant had died down and the charachters came to our table about 4 times. Stitch visted a few more. And we had some great charchter interaction. SO .. for our trip this fall we booked a 11ish Ohanas again! Hopefully we will have the same report.
I agree with FigmentGuy...we had the same experience. I've read that you can get breakfast and lunch with the 11ish seating, but we just had breakfast. It seemed to me that the restaurant was almost completely cleared out...just picking up for lunch...as we were leaving. Go for it!
We like the character meals after 9. Usually we try for 9:30 or 10am.
In our experience the characters spend more time with each table and are more relaxed.
It is less crowded. I'd stick with what you have.
We had a 10:00 am last year, and towards the middle of our breakfast, it was half empty in the restaurant. Lilo actually sat at our table and played Nintendo DS with DS13 while waiting for a parade to start. Stitch helped feed DS2 5-6 bites of food. That was probably the best character interaction we had all week.
However, the downside was that we had to wait 40 minutes for our table and it was after 12 before we got to the park that day.

I agree 100% with this. We didn't do Ohana last September ,but CRT on an EMH morning at 9:50am. We were not rushed at all and everything was great. This September 15th we are doing Ohanas at 10am just before we drive back. Hopefully this will provide full belly's for our little ones to nap away on the drive.
Last year we ate at Ohana at 10:30. We had a great experience and the restaurant was not crowded at all. The characters were still there and ready to interact with us. Plus they still did the parade.
FYI - this plan worked great for us because we went to MK early entry and then took the monorail over for a late breakfast.
Slighty OT, but we like to hit MK at opening, get in a few big rides then go to Chef Mickey's for one of the last breakfast seatings. (We're going at 11:10 on our next trip). We haven't had any problems; in fact, we found it not that crowded and with plenty of character interaction. I'd imiagine it's the same across Bay Lake.
