We are currently awaiting for our OKW resale to go through, but it won't probably be until early to mid March before we can make bookings. We are hoping to stay in a studio for 10 days at WDW in the period 27 April to 9 May. Our plan is to stay 5 days Sun-Thurs in one resort, go somewhere else for the weekend to conserve points (we only have 150) and then come back, hopefully to a different resort the following Sun-Thurs. Don't mind which resort(s) we stay in.

Do you think we will have a problem getting a studio at this time of year when we will only be able to book 6-8 weeks in advance????

Thanks for any responses.

The "real" answer is that you'll never know until you call! :)

You will probably be fine dates you want, but be aware that 60 days before any given date any rooms unreserved by DVC members become available for cash reservations thru CRO- so you are competing with cash ressies (sometimes at a discount) for reservations within 8 weeks.

Late April/early May often has good availability- so you will probably be able to find what you're looking for.

Good Luck! :)

Doc -

Im confused by your sentence. I thought cash rooms become avail. 30 days out which is why they extended the "holding point window" to 60 days.

Do you mean to tell me I am competing with the entire world on holding points than, not just DVC?
