we are thinking of booking up for august{last 2 weeks} or xmas ,we have allways gone in sept which is cheaper and less crowds, but our daughter is starting secondary school .

the price has gone up £1500 between aug /sept {school holidays prices ok thats another subject} went to some travel agents yesterday{i swear they get trained by estate agents} has anyone waited to get a last minute deal and got a good price?

Try Expedia, we booked about a week ago and got a week staying onsite in August for 2 adults and 2 children flying with Virgin from Manchester for just over £1,800 including car hire and insurance, we could of had two weeks at £2,300.
These prices have now gone up for august unfortunately but still show great savings for other months of the year.
What about late October where the kids have a week off, your daughter will only miss a short amount of time off school and just think, Disney is educational, who can argue with that!?
We went last October during half term and it was great. Weather was lovely, no rain and crowds were low.

tryed expedia just over 4000 staying at asm for two weeks,i would love to go in oct ,but the schools have clamp down in warks and plus we have a son in primary who now decided to say no to anyone requesting holidays in school time ,got ok last sept for two weeks ,but we all got letters saying there are no more holidays

Schools really put a downer on the holidays don't they :rotfl:

We have the same problem with DD heading to grammar school in September(yep we still have grammar and secondary - no comprehensives here). Nothng booked yet as we just can't get a few weeks when we can get off work and the kids are free from their sports commitments :confused3

Could be October for us but December is a great time to go to :thumbsup2

We are going during August school holidays as DD is doing her exams as I write this & starts college in Sept.

We got a good deal from Expedia too. So I would keep checking lots of different web sites & always look aat TCD prices too. Bargains are out there & it's still a while till August.

I have booked for August 4th, for 2 adults and 3 kids, in a villa with car hire flights from Manchester for £4,200, through Thomas Cook, I have been looking for last minute the price doesnt really seem to go down much with it being summer holidays, also did a TCD price for two weeks time and they did not have a holiday for 5. It is pot luck but if you see a deal and you are happy with it I would book it.
