How crowded is the last week of August? What is the school schedule like in SoCal? How about early November?
Thanks

I tend not to do Weekends at Disneyland during any summer months, maybe just a Friday or Sunday night(but we are AP holders). Weekdays during late Augest can be hit or miss, there tend to be lots of day camps(field trips) on weekdays but the the park can clear out by 7pm. Early Nov would be obviously better but risk getting poor weather(very low risk).

Most schools return to Schools in early to mid September.

In early November the 4th I think SW Holiday will be open and most of the decorations should be up! POTC will be closed from Oct3- pirate: -Dec12 Early November is much slower than any summer month.

Looks like most Orange County schools start Sept. 1; Most LA schools start 9/6 according to the LA school district web site. November should be better, but you may have more refurbishments (such as Pirates?). Personally, I love Haunted Mansion Holiday, and that should be up in Nov.

The last week in Aug. will probably be crowded. Schools in So Cal don't start again until after Labor Day. It will also probably be very hot. Late Aug. and early Sept. can easily be in the 90s. If you can work it out Nov. will be a much better bet.

That being said, if you can only go in Aug. than you should do it. I am going to WDW in Aug. because that is when I can make it, crowds, heat, hurricanes and all!

Another thing to keep in mind is the last Sunday in August is "Bats Day" in the park when all the goth people hit DL. We've been there the last two years and it gets very crowded.
