Late August and Fireworks

I'm considering taking my daughter to DL the last few days of August/first few days of September, right before Labor Day. I'd like to do a Monday thru Friday trip to avoid as many crowds as we can, but it's just not a Disney trip for me if there's not some fireworks to see. We've done DL several times in the past, but we've done WDW the last few years and I've forgotten many of the DL details - does DL typically do fireworks during the week that last week before Labor Day? Or do they cut back to just a weekends only schedule mid-August??

Last year they introduced "Summer Nightastic!" which is returning this year. The Summer Nightastic! schedule (which includes nightly fireworks) last year went August 23, 2009.

"Magical" fireworks were extended nightly through Labor Day and continued after that on weekends until September 20th.

This year, "Summer Nightastic!" is scheduled from June 11 through August 29th.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I am looking at going down on the 30th. Figures Guess I will just have to hope they extend them again thru Labor Day! Or maybe plan a Sunday thru Thursday trip instead. Decisions...Decisions...

Hopefully, it will be extended. It most likely will not be, but hopefully it will be.
A couple of years ago, I visited Dl the last week of August, and there were fireworks each night. It was rather amusing to hear car alarms being set off from the loud booming sounds.
