Late Aug Park Hours

Just wondering if park hours change much between June and the week of August 23rd. Also are the EMH and MM consistent as in these don't change at end of August?

Check out HydroGuy's Historical DLR Park Hours, Entertainment and Refurbs thread for links to the WDWinfo's DLR hours archives. The short answer is, yes, the hours in June are pretty consistent (8 am to midnight for DL and 8:00 am to 10:00 pm for DCA). By late August, the summer season is winding down, so the hours are getting shorter (weekends are still long, but weekdays can be shorter). Nighttime entertainment schedules also start to change at this point (fireworks usually run nightly through Labor Day, but F! may go to a weekend only schedule in mid-to-late-August).

Unless something is happening that requires a change to the EMH/MM, that schedule is pretty consistent throughout the year. DL has MM/EMH on Tuesday, Thursdays, and Saturdays. DCA has EMH on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Things like the 24-hour day and marathons can impact EMH/MM schedules, but at this point, there is nothing happening the week of August 23rd that jumps out at me as likely to impact EMH/MM.

I have been wondering about the schedule for that week too, as that is the week we are going to be there. Checking Hydroguy's Historical Park Hours is somewhat helpful, but because Labor Day isn't until the 7th this year, there is an extra week between the last full week of August and Labor Day, which is throwing things off. The last time this happened was in 2011, which I am not sure is the best representation of the current park schedule. Anyone have any thoughts?

I truthfully don't know that Labor Day being late this year is really going to impact the August calendar all that much. The SoCal and SoCal Select AP summer blockout ends at roughly the same time this year (August 17 in 2015 compared with August 18 in 2014) and some schools will already be back in session. If I was planning a trip, I would use the August 2014 calendar as a guide and go with that at this point.

Thanks! That is a good point about the blockout ending at roughly the same time.
