We are booked at the Pop & decided to spend the extra money for the premium location (or whatever it is called). Our flight is scheduled to land at 10:30pm on Christmas, so we won't be arriving to the hotel until very late. I know the hotel will be full. Is there any need to worry about a preferred location room not being available when we arrive?

I wouldnt worry. Just have your paper work in hand in case. I would also note the reservation that you are arriving late.

No worries! You booked a preffered room so they will have that for you. If it will make you feel better call Pop directly tell them everything so you will feel better. Have a great trip!

Like the previous posters said, I wouldn't worry about a late check in. Are you using Magical Express service? If so, Disney already knows you will be arriving late.

I always call the resort (Disney or otherwise) to let them know I will be checking in late. It may not make a difference to the resort but it makes me feel better.

Have a great trip!

Thanks for the replies. Yes, we are taking the Magical Express. I feel better now & will probably call the resort the day before just to make sure everything is OK.

When you arrive late and are using Magical Express, Disney suggests you pick up your own luggage and take it on the bus. That way you won't be waiting around for hours at the hotel with no luggage.

We arrived even later (after midnight) a couple years ago. We still had them pick up our luggage, but had them hold it until morning when we called after we woke up. We carried on what we needed for the first night. I think that is the way to go, rather than waiting an extra 30-60 minutes for the bags at the airport.

This is what we did with our late night flight in 2006 and what we plan on doing this August too.
