I have gotten in late and had a whole bus to myself. Went directly to my resort. Might not want to use the Disney bag tags and just pick them up yourself. Otherwise no idea when you will them.
DH's plane was very late, and he got to AKV past midnight on ME. Because he was supposed to get in before 9, he had a checked bag on SW. He had to wait for it at MCO, so that added to the delay.
We're traveling with our twin Gkids and our plane is scheduled to land at 11:00 p.m. so I made ressie for the Airport Hyatt and we'll take the ME next morning to resort.
During our late January trip this year, our plan arrived a little after 10:00. We picked up our bags and headed to the ME. We had to wait maybe 5 min to board a bus, and then maybe 10 min on the bus for it to leave. It was probably 1/3 full. We love the ME - it just seems so easy to use...

We will be arriving at MCO around 10PM also. I asked the same question of MS when we booked ME and they suggested not using the ME yellow baggage tags. Instead, pick them up at baggage claim of airline and take them with you to ME where they will load on ME bus. Otherwise they may be delivered at 3AM
We always do ME and 90% of the time our flight arrives after 10pm. We never use their tags, just pick up the bags and go. Sometimes we wait awhile for the bus to fill up but it's free so we don't worry about it.
We are coming in at various times (10 of us). Those of us coming in closer to dinner time are probably going to just pick up our bags at baggage claim too so we can start unpacking & not be in anyone's way when they get in so late (11 pm with elementary & toddler age kids).
