We have tentative plans (air transportation - no hotel just yet) to visit WDW in December. Our flight arrives at MCO at 11pm. I noticed that both the CSR and the CBR have complimentary transportation from the check in area to your room until 11pm. Without transportation to the room, just how far could we possibly have to walk to our rooms? Looking at the resort maps, it makes sense that they would provide transportation to the rooms! We will probably be checking in around midnight. After a day at work and a flight down, I'm not sure we'll have much energy to be hauling miles to the room with baggage. Anyone have any experience with a late check-in at either of these resorts? TIA

I am sure someone will be able to take you to your room no matter what time it is.

If you are taking the ME from the airport, your luggage will be delivered to your room regardless of the time you check in, so you should not have to drag your bags to the room.

Thanks - yes, we'll be using the ME. I don't have any experience with this, but from what I've read, it seems to be the way to go. We've stayed at the POP several times and the All Stars - maybe the maps are deceiving as far as the size of the CBR is concerned, but it seems much larger. We've never minded carrying bags to the room, but we usually arrive earlier in the day and the resorts we've stayed in don't seem as spread out. I suppose it doesn't really matter - after all, what's to complain about? I'm still at WDW!!

Thanks everyone - I'll definitely call ahead to find out if transportation is offerred to the rooms. I appreciate the phone #!

From what I've been reading, this is a very nice resort. We are really looking forward to relaxing and trying a different resort. Thanks again.

I would call the resorts and explain your arrival time and ask if they could accomadate you. I recently arrived at CBR around 10 at night, so I had no problem, I didn't realize they had a cut off time. The CBR number is 407-934-3400, and CS is 934-1000. Good luck, I know I wouldn't want to walk to any of the buildings in CBR from customs house. It's a hike.

as far as the maps go (for CBR anyway) the resort is HUGE! Compared to POP, which is large in its own right, CBR is a monster. I would take cassie's suggestion and call ahead.
