Late Arrival at Resort- DME question?

We are taking a late flight out of Buffalo and probably won't get to our resort, CSR, until around 10pm. Being so late we will be able to have our luggage delivered via DME that same night or does this service stop running after a certain time. I have never flown this late thus never had this problem. We are going to pack our toiletries,essentials, and 1 days worth of clothing just in case it doesn't come until the morning. I plan on getting up early to hit the parks at opening, this will be a first.

In March we did not land until 10:30pm and got to the resort and checked in around 11:45...you can still use DME. They run as long as they have flights scheduled to come in. The only thing I would warn you about is luggage delivery. We told the woman at check in that we wanted our bags held until the following morning. We said "It's late, please hold the bags. We will call when we wake up and will come get them or have them brought to us." She said "No problem. I have noted that here on the system." 2am...phone rings. It was Bell Services telling us our luggage was at the resort and would we like to have it delivered.
Sooooooo...either get your luggage yourself or take your phone off the hook once you check in! I don't remember if you can just block incoming calls on your phone. But I know you can take it off the hook and in the morning you will just have a message saying your luggage is there.
We have used DME twice and were very happy with it...other than that one little snag. But it won't stop us from using it this year. We love the service.

Thanks for the advice!! I probably wouldn't mind being woke up in the wee hours of the morning by either a phone call or someone knocking on the door though. I probably will be too excited to sleep anyways!!

I'm a light sleeper...I told them go ahead and bring it! Never even phased my husband or our daughter. Neither one of them woke up. In fact, I woke up at 7am and had everything unpacked, hung up and in the drawers when they woke up at 8am. They were completely unaware of any of it!

We checked in last Sunday, and our plane arrived at 6pm, and it took them 6 hours to get our luggage to us!!! I had swim suits with us, because I figured it would take a while, but not 6 hours We didn't have bedtime stuff with us.

I also had Costco deliver water, and I figured that we would pick it up at storage in the morning. Well, 2 people come pounding on our door at 11:30PM, and I was scared, and they kept yelling "front desk, front desk", and I look out, and there were 2 CMs standing there with 2 cases of water. Needless to say, they didn't get a tip. Do they not consider midnight late at Disney? I know that people are walking around at all hours, but this seemed a little extreme.
