Late April, Whats it like?

I've never been down in late April or early May. What are the crowds in the park like? Any other suggestions/ comments would be welcome. It turns out that its one of the only times we can get away. Just hope that we'll miss the spring break crowds.

you miss the big crowds. and besides you will be there for the flower/garden festavial.

their concerts are better (in my opinion) than the ones doing on during the wine/food festavial.

Crowds are busy in April when it is the week of Easter but after that it's great. Weather is warm but not like in the summer. Very little rain.

Flower and Garden Festival is beautiful. Points are cheaper in May.

After Food and Wine, this is our favourite time to go.

Great...thanks for the input. It looks as though April is going to be our only time to get away next year, so if it's a good time to go that works out perfectly!
