just was making our new trip ressies. Booked our long trip (10 nights) for next nov. and also booked a quick "budget" getaway for april 29-may 3. We have never been to WDW in the spring, we are sept-nov goers. I am expecting large crowds, but how large? the UOG says "3", but I would like some advice from the EXPERTS!

so what should we expect? we will be staying POFQ, and leaving before the big celebration on the 5th..........

thanks in advance :D

Been going down the first week of May the past couple of years and the crowds
are not that bad. Easter and spring breaks are over and colleges are just finishing up. Weather is fine and the
flower festival is underway at EPCOT.
Good time to go!! Middle to later May
the crowds start picking up.

We've been twice in May, once was Mother's day weekend, the other was around the 1st-2nd week. Both times were pretty light crowds, except for Saturday and Sunday of Mother's Day weekend...but it was still nothing like the summer or school vacation times.

Our favorite time is a toss-up....late September....or late April into early May.
We did the last 4 days of April into the first four days of May in 1996 and loved it! Crowds were not bad at all. Weather was actually hot.....hotter than nromal...but we didn't mind it at all. Great memories! Have fun!
