Late April/early May vs. October -- crowd levels?

We usually go to Disney & Universal in late April/early May. However, if we take the trip in 2010, I'm debating going in early to mid October instead.

When is Harry Potter opening? I'm assuming that will really increase crowds?

We are thinking of staying on site for 2 nights and then heading to a rental house for the disney portion of our trip. Do you think Rip Ride Rockit will utilize the FOTL system by then? How about Harry Potter?

Any other general thoughts about October 2010?

What is Rip Tide Rocket? We were there last June, and rode Ripsaw Falls.
