First time going without the dining plan

April 25 - May 2

Never had the freedom to come and go as we choose and not worry about staying in 1 park all day so we don't miss our reservation.

With that being said, IF we want a nice sit down meal, what do you all think about going late April without any ADR's? Will we be out of luck or be just fine ??

If anything, we'd like to make only 2-3 ADR's and paly it by ear the rest of the time

Hello neighbour, I'm from the Moncton area!

Well....from past experience I would suggest making the ADR's and if need be just cancel. We had a day when we hadn't made any plans and just wanted a good meal, no more chicken fingers and fries or pizza! We were staying at the Poly but had been at Epcot so started out for the Boardwalk. Long story short nothing available within this area. We ended up going back to the Poly, I called for several other restaurants, same thing nothing available. Then we decided that we would walk over to Shades of Green to see if we could eat there. We stopped at the concierge on the way out of the Poly to see if they would know if we could eat at SOG and she wasn't sure. Basically I said HELP, we are hot, tired and cranky can you find us anywhere's to eat? I had already called for O'hana's from the room and was told nothing was available. I'm sure it was because we were staying at the Poly and no other reason but she looked at her computer for about 2 seconds and asked if we would eat at O'hanas, we were seated in O'hanas within 15 minutes! However that lesson took three hours of our time...........when in the world time is money!! This was during the last week of April first week of May.

Hey!!! I grew up in Riverview!!! My parents still live in the same house, & my older brother & his family live in Riverview too!! Actually, he teaches at the Junior High School there. Maybe we know one another!! Know any Terry's?

As for your question...yes, make some ADR's, just to be safe, especially if there is any place that you are really hoping to get a chance to eat at. As East Coaster said, you can cancel them.
