Late application?

So I applied last Saturday to the DCP. I've been wanting to do so all semester, but I didn't know if my family situation would work out. Anywho, my status is in "submission" still, but a friend who applied last Thursday is already having her phone interview tonight. When should I possibly expect an email of any kind (other than thank you for applying)? I know they're doing a lot of phone interviews this week, and a lot of people probably applied last weekend. The last day to apply is also the 29th. I'm just kinda wondering what to expect. The wait is killing me! Also, I did put interest for every role. I applied for Disney World for the regular spring program.

I know someone who applied maybe last week, had their phone interview right away and heard back the next day (a rare case and we were all uber jealous of him on the FB group). Honestly, time has nothing to do with consideration. Everyone will hear by Nov. 17th.

Yeah. And I'd rather my status say "Submission" rather than "No longer in consideration." My friend who had her phone interview last night had that status within a few hours after her interview. :/
