Did anyone see it? I had no idea Phil's son was an addict. How sad.

Tonight's episode says something about Phil having trouble. Is this the episode where he has the stroke? I wasn't sure if the show was filming when this happened. Not sure I can watch it, too difficult.

As far as Jake being an addict, it sounds like his brother didn't even know.

It struck me as so sad when Phil kept saying, "your a liar and a theif" when he caught Jake stealing his pills.

It's like he was only focusing on Jake stealing his pills, and not WHY he was stealing his pills. When Jake said, "I'm an addict" the look on Phils face was so shocking, like a light went off and he had been sucker punched in the gut. I felt like we should not have been seeing such an unguarded moment between a father and son.

I felt horrible listening to him saying those things, knowing what was coming. And then hearing Phil say he wanted Jake out of his life and never wanted to see him again....wow.

No wonder the kid went a little crazy after Phil passed away.

I agree that it was weird to watch this blowup between father and son. What a shame for the two of them to have this be one of the final things to transpire in their relationship before the stroke. I bet the son feels like dirt now.
