We are plannig to do US/IOA Mon, Tues and Wed, Sept 26, 27, 28, is there a day that would be better for IOA over US? We hope to do one on Monday, the other Tues and then hop to both to redo the favorites on Wed...any advice? We are most interested in Harry Potter World, if that helps :)

Wonderful time to visit. Parks will not be crowded, you should be fine. This year will be my fourth consecutive year travelling the last weeks of September. Whether is warm but not too hot. I'll be there until the 27th!

Cheers!

Personally, I'd do US on Monday and IoA on Tuesday. Mondays tend to be busy because Sunday is a travel day for many. YMMV. :)

We'll be in Orlando the week of September 17th and plan on visiting Universal and Islands of Adventure on September 22nd (Thursday)... are Thursdays generally good days to go and does anyone think a Thursday at this time in September will be fairly okay crowd-wise??

Yeah...that should work fine. Just remember the parks close early that time of year so if you're doing both parks on 9/22, you may have to skip some things.

We're going 9/26 too. :thumbsup2 Starting the day at IoA and then hopping over to US. I have a plan that worked really well at the same time last year for IoA, we're just following the same system. We are always in line by 8:15 am at the latest, it works out ok even if the park is busy later on.

Care to share your plan?
We have 3 days so I think we should be fine...

We're planning to do US on Tuesday 9/27 starting around 1 after flying in, and then Wednesday 9/28 starting at Early Entry at IOA! I cant wait!!

Going to piggy back on to the thread if that's ok. I'll be down on the last Friday and Saturday in Sept (23 and 24) and I kept debating if we should get the express passes or even the VIP passes for these days.

Just to give you an idea of our schedule we plan on spending the majority of our first day at the Wizarding World so I'm assuming we'd have a little over a day to do the rest of the parks and given the parks are closing early for the Halloween Event I'm afraid of running the risk of getting caught in longer lines due to it being a weekend and the Halloween Event starting.

Any thoughts?

I highly doubt you will need Express Plus passes during those days but you can purchase once you arrive and see the lines for yourself. The Studios is closing an hour early for HHN but IOA should be open until 7pm. Do the Studios first and then head over to IOA for the remainder of the day. If you do IOA first, you will likely run out of time unless you purchase the EPs for the Studios but again...wait until you arrive and see what the lines are like for purchasing.
