My DD and I will be at WDW over her spring break, staying at CSR. We have annual passes to USE, and are thinking of hopping over to Universal for one day (we will have a rental car). However, we have been spoiled our last two visits there by staying at HRH with FOTL, etc. Are the parks likely to be really crowded then?? (Not around Easter time, but still spring break). Any advice?

Here's a breakdown of school holidays at that time.
Orlando - Off March 17-21
Tampa - Off March 24-28
West Palm Beach - Off March 17-21
Broward County - Off March 31 for 1 day, then April 14-21
Miami Dade - Off March 31-April 07

Looking at the above for the last week of March, Tampa is off while Orlando is going back to school. How many will drive over from Tampa is hard to tell, plus they have BGT to visit. I'd say to go for it. Arrive to the park early, which means being at the gate by 08:30am. If you do that, you can hit the major attractions before the crowd arrives.
