our first family disney trip we have two boys 4 & 6.

I've been planning this trip since November and keep changing around my ADR's.

...person Iv'e seen that will be there the same time as us. We check in on the 22nd-29th. We upgraded to CSR from POP. Have you ever stayed at CSR? I looks beautiful and we can't wait!

We are going from August 14-28! It is the first time we have been there in August, so for you August veterans, just how hot is it? Are the mornings and evenings bearable? Is it better after dark? We are at Pop for the first week and AKL for the second week. We have never stayed deluxe so this is really exciting for us!!

i LOVE august!!
lower crowds, hot but not unbearable (with a 5-30 minute daily thunderstorm to cool things down).
we tend to hit the parks in AM, back to the resort around 1PM for swim/veg time, then parks again around 3-4PM.
we've mini-fans (NOT the water-filled kind ~ we find them just TOO heavy to carry around in the heat) are great. we also carry bottled water ~ & tylenol, just in case of "heat headaches" )
btw, try out Boma at AKL ~ that's our FAV WDW restaurant!!

Thanks for the tips! We have ADRs for Boma for breakfast one day and dinner one day. We ate there last year and it is our favorite as well!

We will be in Disney from August 27th-Sept1st. I am prepared for the heat, I think. We will be driving so that is eating into our vacation time. Speaking of eating...I am sooooo excited for the free dining!! Usually we try to do counter service and have a few splurge meals because with five in the family and three being boys it can get expensive! With the free dining, I have ADR's for places we may never have had a chance to dine at. Le Celliers being one I am most excited about...yippee!!!

We will be there! DH and DD(4) and of course the Disney fanatic mommy me! This is my DD 5th trip! She loves eveything Disney too! We will be staying at POFQ (first time there!) from Aug. 27- Sept. 3! Have a great trip everyone! Is it August yet? Got a great price on airfare (from Boston) when we bought our tickets on delta in February!
