Ok so I m trying to convince my hubby to take me to disneyland april 24-27 for my 40th birthday :) I told him the only way I was going to be ok with turning 40 is if I can spend it at disney :) so now I'm trying to convince him the crowds won't be horrible because it's in between spring break and end of school year. Has anyone been during this time frame? How busy was it? Thx!!

Yes we have.. last year.. it was crowded in that you had to wait sometime for rides, but not so crowded that you wanted to pull your hair out..
waited in line for about 5 minutes until I got to the fast pass machine for RSR and then discovered the time would cut into our lunch resi.. so I waited approx. another 5 minutes to get a later time...
meeting characters was never more than 20 odd minutes.. and the longest we waited for rides was about 20 to 25 for the more popular ones..
there are people there .. and it feels more busy at the start of the day and parades ect.. but once people got inside and spread out , it wasn't too busy... not like the week of spring break.

The Monday and Tuesday you are there would be considered "value" days so I'd say it's about as good as it's gonna get crowd wise! Go and have fun!!

Although it's a few years away I want to go to DLR for my 50th!

I plan on being there 4/26-4/30. I picked those days as it seemed like nice weather but lower crowds (according to the various crowd calendars). I hope I picked right!

There's dapper day crowds and rates going on. The hotels are sold out. Last dapper day dlr hit capacity and had to stop new entries. I was there. It was suffocating BUT official dapper day isn't until the 1st so it shouldn't hit capacity but it's always busy the week before and after dapper day because of the cheap rates for dlh and GCH. I'll be there just after you, so the crowds don't stop me but I know what I'm gettin into also. Good luck!
