Last Week August

Hi All,

Sorry if this is a silly question. We have always stayed at WDW around December timeframe and never in the summer.

What are the crowds like the last week of August?

The crowds were great last year! We got to the parks for opening, used FPs when available and I think the longest wait we had was about 15 minutes for GMR and maybe that long too for Space Mt. It was a little more rainy that I would have liked(way more than your typical afternoon thunder showers), but it didnt bother us too much (only affected a couple things).
We are going back the same week this year!

last week of August - it was the best of times it was the worst of times...

We loved the last week of August - until - the Labor Day weekend people arrived. The hotel was crowded, pool crowded, restaurants crowded, buses crowded and the parks were unbearable you could not move for people and rides like Dumbo had a 75 minute wait.. it was insane.

So as long as you are not talking about "THAT" Sat, Sunday/Monday.. then August was amazing with light crowds and great service everywhere.
