debating on where to eat at DHS with kids (DD 7, DS 5, DS 5). we did Hollywood and Vine a couple of years ago and food wasnt great (at least to us). Our kids like the characters of course Handy Manny, Oso, and Einsteins not their favorite. but i think would actually like the food for kids better at Sci fi. How is food at Sci fi or would another choice at DHS be better for us. we are using dining plan. any other suggestions appreciated.

Have heard really mixed reviews on Sci Fi food when you order non-sandwich entrees. But we liked Sci-Fi for lunch...burgers & reuben sandwich and fries were good, ice cream sundaes for dessert. Can't help you on the kids meals there...our kids are grown. The atmosphere in there/decor is really fun...would think kids would get a big kick out of sitting in the "cars" and watching the silly sci-fi movie clips.

We also like Mama Melrose...but service is slow. Would compare the food there to Olive Garden...not the best Italian, but good enough.

We love Sci Fi! My girls love that they can get a side salad with their meal. I love the burgers and the wedge salad with steak. My husband has only ever had the reuben and LOVED it. I can't remember what my mom got (I think the wedge salad) but whatever it was she really enjoyed it. We always get an onion ring order for an app. Yum!

it is a burger joint, burgers and shakes are good, the rings look amazing but fall short on taste, very greasy and not crispy.
the kids will probably love sitting in the cars and watching the little tom & jerry clips
another option is to get on the boat and head over to the beach club for the cape may clambake, my kids loved it

Are you wanting to eat at DHS for dinner that last night? I think your kids would like Sci-Fi, but I've heard the dinner menu isn't that great. Lunch is good, though.

I can't think of anyplace really great at DHS. I guess I'd rather do DINNER at 50s Prime Time over Sci-Fi, but that's only because of the Sci-Fi dinner menu.

Other non-park suggestions: 1900 Park Fare, maybe?
