Last Trip? It was until we met Food & Wine -- Recap 2/12

We will go to Marco Island October 10-18 and then Disney October 18-25. Reversing order, but we get to do Food & Wine with Nicki and Todd. We just have to decide on resort...down to two choices.

I am so envious of you with how often you and Mark are able to travel to Florida.;) For us in two more years Alyssa will be in college and Carolyn and I will be able to head down there twice a year. ::yes::

Wonderful!! I did love your pictures from this time.

Yeah! Caught the update right when you posted!

I love when that happens.

Going on Peoplemover! We love that ride too - what a cute photo of your feet and those are some cute socks you're wearing. :thumbsup2

Thanks; those are the socks I got in June after we got drenched in the rain.

It looks pretty crowded, but you seem to have cope
d with it pretty well. Jungle Cruise at night is one of our favourites :goodvibes we love all the extra jokes the skippers crack. :thumbsup2

Yes, I did notice extra jokes at night.

Okay, caught up .... now waiting for more.

So you thought.

Ah, you posted another update, while I posted mine!

I actually posted three in all. :)

HM at night - great choice! Can't wait to see your pics of the Castle show.

Unfortunately, those are not great. :(

Ohhh all the rides make me happy. You're the first person I've heard say they didn't like a Dole Whip! I've, of course, never had one, but it comes so highly recomended I feel like I'd miss part of the quintessential experience if I skipped it. Ultimately, though, it's up to Squeaks. I told her she could have ice cream every day on vacation and she usually picks strawberry, so we may not stop there.

I'm not a big pineapple fan and they just didn't do it for me. Tell Sqeaks Mickey Bars are MUCH better.

So many pictures of Mark, and not one with a silly hat! Still, the child-like excitement on his face in line for the Haunted Mansion is pretty great.

I'm not sure if there are any more for this day. But trust me, there are many more to come. He truly is my man child.

Aww, I hope you do get grandchildren soon! What fun grandparents you'd be!

Thanks; I think we would too (and they would definitely be spoiled rotten).

Ahhhh, the Magic Kingdom! I would love to be strolling around there right now instead of sittin' behind this stupid desk in the middle of stacks of paperwork.

I'd rather be there too (although I'm not at a desk, but sitting at home listening to my husband constantly flip channgels.

I think that your pictures came out great despite the fact that you hadn't mastered the new camera yet. I'm with Mark on the Haunted Mansion. It's one of my favorites!

Haunted Mansion is a long time favorite and it's so much fun at night.

Loved all of the People Mover pictures... Those are great. Despite the fact that you didn't get much time to practice in your camera - I think they are wonderful.

Thanks, D.

LOL at Mark's comment about grandchildren... I cannot WAIT for you guys to become grandparents - it's gonna be sooooo awesome! More trips to Disney for sure. :woohoo:

If we have any say in it, they'll go once a year (with or without their parents!).

Myself - I love Dolewhips... but I didn't indulge on this last trip... The lines were the same when we were there, and just not worth it to me.

We stopped when we were with Tim and family as he got one.

I have never done the JC at night... I bet it's fun!

It is; and the animals look a bit more real than they do in the stark sunlight.

Yay for doing BTMRR at night - I don't think I've ever done that one at night either?

D, you must rectify that.

Can't do HM at night though - some rides scare the devil out of me at night - that one and ToT do it... I know - I am a baby.

Really; I'm surprised.

Looks like a great first night - nothing better than MK at night. Makes my heart go flip-flop. :lovestruc

D~

Thanks; MK at night does make your heart go flip-flop/

Ah Peoplemover. And well done with the critical leg shots Kathy. :thumbsup2

I learned a few years ago it was a cardinal rule to get that shot. ;)

I think your pictures turned out great!! That's a heck of a zoom on there. And for what it's worth, I also have issues with posts jumping in the way.

I have to say the zoom is awesome on the camera.

Haha despite all the contruction walls in the hub I did enjoy those little cut outs to spruce things up.

They were fun and helped take away the pain of all the walls.

I do like Dole Whips, but not the line. It always seemed to be long too. If I really really wanted a Dole Whip, I'd hit up the Poly.

I hear they have the at Epcot too.

In my opinion the Jungle Cruise is so much better at night. I try to do it then if I can. I find the atmosphere so much cooler and the animals actually look more real to me. And who doesn't love the backside of water?
I also think Big Thunder is so much better at night. In fact, I pretty much don't bother with it in the daytime anymore.

After doing JC at night, I may skip it in the daytime too.

Oh my stars! I just had to edit a post a few pages back; looks like I typed a bad word instead of the word shots, as in photos! Super embarrassed!

You got some great shots from the People Mover! I love how you can see so much while riding it.

That is part of the reason I love it so much...you can see a lot.

Love the Jungle Cruise at night. and Big Thunder Mountain too - that is like a totally different experience (personally one I prefer to the day version)

I have to agree.

Glad you had time for the Haunted Mansion - you were definitely hitting up a bunch of classics!

With more to come. :)

Wow, you have done so much already. SCORE, on such a short line at HM!!! :cool1:

I was surprised how short HM was.

I am with D~, I have never done Jungle Cruise at night. It was on my must do list when we went in 2012, and I KNEW I would get to do it, because it was supposed to be open for EMH's....but then it wasn't. :scared1: That was the major disappointment of that particular trip for me. JC is one of my all time favorites, and I missed it altogether because I was holding out for a night time ride. :worried One of my favorite Diser's (princessjess) is a skipper on JC at Disneyland for her CP right now. THAT would be fun!!!! :sail:

That's weird that it wasn't open for EMH's. I bet being a CM on JC would be a lot of fun.

Mark's grandchildren comment had me :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

He loves kids and is anxious to have grandchildren.

I am so excited that on your (and Mary's and others) recommendation, our first stop on our December trip is Olivia's!!! I cannot wait to try a Turtle Krawl! We're staying at OKW for the bulk of the trip - so maybe I'll get more than one during the trip!

Sheree, so glad you are going to Olivia's. Think of me when you have your Turtle Krawl. So glad you are staying at OKW...I hope you love it as much as us.

Looks like some fun times at MK!! Jungle Cruise, People mover, Haunted Mansion!!! YAY! :yay:

And more fun rides to come.

I'll try to keep up here now!

No worries....I know it is hard to keep up all the time.

I hope your mom's doing okay. I'm sure it's difficult.

She's having a lot of pain and they are now letting her have morphine for the pain.

I love your socks Kathy!!

Thanks; it was a three pack and I have teal and black ones too.

You PP photo is really cute.

Awww...thank you.

Love the walking stick joke, or maybe not such a joke?! :o

He likes to pretend he is an old man; we all know he has the heart of a kid which keeps him young.

I don't think I've ever done JC at night, looks like fun, BTMRR too!

They are a lot of fun at night.

I can't wait to see the Tangled area next year. I'm a little peeved it's just the rest area, but it looks gorgeous.

I agree; they should have made it a Rapunzel meet and greet.

You guys already got a lot done, and all before the fireworks! Can't wait fir the rest of the evenings fun!

And we still have a lot we get done this night.

I love the attractions you picked! Jungle Cruise at night is kinda cool, looks a little creepier out there in the dark!

Thanks, Stephanie. Yes, but it also makes the animals seem more realistic.

Your new camera is nice, the pictures are all great. And I'm not a huge fan of Dole Whips either!

Thanks; I was very happy with the camera. I'm glad I'm not the only one with the Dole Whip unlove.

I love your photos!

Thanks, Laura.

SO glad there's someone else who's not really a fan of Dole Whips.

Look we have another one not fond of them. :)

Loved the update! I loved your shirt! What does it say? I could only see the Mrs. part. :)

Thank you. I didn't realize you had a trip so close. My shirt says "Mrs. Always Right." :)

I saw you comment on a few of the PTRs & TRs that I read, and since I kept seeing your name, I figured I'd check out your TR. Hi!

:welcome: Sarah; thank you for joining.

Thanks for the reassurance that you don't bite - I was a little nervous about that.

Nope; would never consider it. ;)

Firstly, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she at least doesn't suffer too much.

Thank you very much.

Now, on to the happier stuff:
I love your Dumbo bag ... super cute!

Thanks; one of our Diser's made that for me.

And yay for Disney extending your APs! I love when they do something nice for you after you have a bad experience (I actually just had that happen to me, so I really understand how nice it feels).

I was blown away by their generosity.

I love all of the pictures from the resort! So beautful! And yay for the pixie dust from awesome CM Jon!

Jon was the best, and AKL just has our heart.

And I love your awesome gift shop pictures too ... looks like you wer having tons of fun trying on the hats!

That is Mark's trademark and my readers expect that every trip.

It was so nice of your friends who won the Disney tickets to give them to you. I guess they knew they were going to a good home with someone who would appreciate them. :)

We are truly blessed with amazing friends.

I love the selfie of you and Mark on the ferry - such a cute picture!

Awww...thanks. :)

MK pictures look really nice (especially the ones from the People Mover) ... looks like you had a good time!

We were having a blast; it was so good to be "home."

Ok, 30 pages, and I think that's all I have to say (for now at least). I'm looking forward to reading more!

Thanks again for being here.

What a great update! I going to have to do the Jungle Cruise at night on my upcoming trip after seeing those pictures - I usually go for a cruise in the morning!

Yes please try it in the evening and let us know what you think.

Looking forward to the next update and I hope all is well with your family.

We are hanging in there. Mom has been put on morphine, but she has been sitting up at the kitchen table a couple of nights.

Kathy, It seems like you just can't miss a day with your TR's without getting so far behind. Gonna try and get caught up now. :goodvibes

I think you actually missed the previous update. :rotfl2: But I know people get busy so no worries, Bob.

Sorry to see your pool day ended up being washed out. Seems like the last few times you have been back to Disney you bring the rain with you from Chicago. In fact, I was checking my weather app on my phone the time you were down there as if I was on the trip. :rotfl: But then again, I check the Orlando forcast every day from my phone. :lmao: Glad to see you were able to relax from your room though and enjoy the animals out on the safari. I have never stayed at the AKL but I have been in it many times and it just amazes me

I either bring it with me or take it home. :( It was a relaxing afternoon and let me be ready to try to make it to 1 a.m.

Because of you, now that we are members of DVC I'm going to make a visit to OKW just to look around and see how we like it. It is very favorable with points and I'm sure at some point in time we will end up staying there.

We love a LOT of things about OKW, but those low points are a huge factor in our decision on where to stay.

You have my interest peaked with Olivia's. The menu does look good and how can anyone go wrong with a good pulled pork sandwich. I could eat pulled pork every day if it was calorie free. Geez, I gain weight just eating ice cubes. :rotfl2: With that said, the Banana Bread Pudding Sunday looked out of this world...

I look at food and put on five pounds all of the time. I've given up at my age. I think you'd really enjoy it.

I have never been to WDW during the fall season to see the decorations, but if it is half as good as Disney is during Christmas I bet it is just breath taking. The pictures look great, but I bet it is incredible being there in person. :thumbsup2

I'm thinking once your DD goes to college that perhaps you can go at that time yourself.

I should say that I loved your evening at the MK; there is something so magical about being in the MK into the night. From the pictures it looks like a whole lot of other people love it as well. It seems like there is no such thing as a slow period anymore at Disney... It is now two crowd seasons, busy or packed. :rotfl:

It seemed crowded, but as you'll see in the next updates, we get a lot done. It's all in the timing.

I will leave you with this; I agree with you 100% about a Dole Whip. I just don't get it. I tried one once and while it was ok, there is no way I'm going to wait in some long line for one of these as if I was standing in the stand by line for TSM. It would not surprise me someday to see Disney have a FP+ to buy a Dole Whip. :lmao:

Now that would make a lot of people happy having a FP+ for Dole Whips.:lmao::lmao:

I know you updated in case D and I decided to take over right?!?! :lmao:

ABSOLUTELY MO!

Despite you not learning the camera fully i think the pictures are wonderful!!!

Thanks sweetie; that means a lot coming from you.

Your getting a LOT done this evening too. Night at MK? NOTHING beats it. except Twilight and sunrise with colors!!! :cloud9:

I couldn't agree more.

nothing more beautiful then the castle and pink skies.

Absolutely!

YES! Grandkids! I cannot wait to see you guys with them!!! Until then i have 3 who would be more then willing to step in for your training?!?!

Oh my, if I adopt any more practice grandkids, my husband may disown me. I have five of them already! :rotfl::rotfl:

I'll finish responses tomorrow and may try to finish our EMH evening.

Hi Kathy! Seems like a relaxing night at MK, and yet you got quite a few rides in. :cool1: I love BTMRR at night!

It's funny when you don't care for something you have heard raved about on the DIS - it makes you feel un-DIS-like! :rotfl2: For me it's the Zebra domes. I won't wait in a huge line for the Dole Whip, though.

What is it about men and flipping channels? How can they possibly watch 25 shows?

Praying for your mom - I'm sorry to hear she is in so much pain, glad the morphine is helping.

Great EMH update! You guys went on a lot of our favorites! I am so bummed the Haunted Mansion will be closed when we are there, going to miss as it's my husband's favorite ride. Onto those bathrooms in Fantasyland I too find that area just too adorable and always make a pitstop there:lmao:

Thank you. I didn't realize you had a trip so close. My shirt says "Mrs. Always Right." :)

Im less than 30 days out and I couldnt be more excited or more under pressure at the same time! Im gonna have to find me a shirt just like that!! :)

K

Kathy, I can't believe you don't like Dole Whips!! I thought every DIS-er loves them!

Love the ride choices for the evening. Big Thunder Mountain is so great at night!

You guys will make the BEST grandparents!

Jungle Cruise at night is our favorite! I love Jungle Cruise but we really only do it at night now and I think it makes it way better.
You are hitting all my fav spots. Seems like a perfect night to me!

Great update and awesome pictures! I would definitely say your new camera was a wise purchase.

Thanks, Dee.

:thumbsup2

I'm very happy with it

Pretty sky that night.

It was a really pretty night.

I love the Peoplemover pictures, especially the aliens.

Thanks; I love those little guys.

Dumbo looks like he is patting Mark with his trunk.

Yes he does!

Really nice pictures inside the Tiki Room.

Thanks new camera.

We have been on the Jungle Cruise once at night. It wasn't great. Our skipper wasn't very good, and she was behind on her script or even skipped a lot of it.

That's too bad; I think you need a redo.

BTM is great at night. I'm not sure if I like it better or not. It is just fun ride. Anytime.

:goodvibes

I have noticed though that it seems bumpier to me...or it's just my age.

I'm a also a big fan of Olivia's although we have only gone for breakfast (banana bread French toast  )! Glad you were able to have another great meal there.

:welcome: Stacy; thank you for joining. We love breakfast too there. You need to try dinner.

You are my kinda girl making your first stop Starbucks. I can't wait for Starbucks to be in all parks!

Amen sister! It certainly makes a difference in my personality...especially first thing in the morning.;)

Yay for all the rides you were able to get on even with larger crowds.

Luckily we had FP+ for two of the rides thus far, but the crowds never seemed to be where we were once we got past Main Street.

That PP picture at the castle is perfect. You both look so excited and happy!

Thank you. :goodvibes

Wow - you guys are getting a lot done! I'm loving all the pictures.

Thanks, Darla...appreciate it.

Hi Kathy! I made it over!

Thanks for making it over, Terri. :goodvibes

Awww, I love meeting you and your hubby Mark in the intro, you two look so sweet together, and your sons and their gf/wife are all beautiful too!

You are very sweet...thank you. We are very proud of our boys.

GREAT start to your trip! I think I could learn a thing or two from you with your pace! I love it! Very relaxing!

You know, we did all that rushing and open to close with the boys; now it's time to take it all in and relax too.

Wow! Your room at AKL is gorgeous! As is the resort! I think I will need to put this on my dream resort list for sure!

It is definitely a resort every one should experience once.

Enjoying everything so far, can't wait to read more!

Thanks.

Great update Kathy! Believe it or not I have never done the Jungle Cruise or the Tiki Room... :duck: Going to do those this next time I swear!! :rotfl:

Thanks, Casey. Well, I can't personally blame you for the Tiki Room...it's rather corny; but hubby loves it and I'd do almost anything for him.

I love the Peoplemover. Always make sure to ride it at least once a day while I'm at MK. It's just so relaxing and I especially love people watching! They should change the name to "PeopleWatcher!" haha :rotfl:

People watching is great on it; you have a great idea there!

Can't wait to see your nighttime pictures. I have seen the Castle in pictures and real life SO MANY times.. but it never gets old! :lovestruc

Rain or shine, it never gets old seeing that castle.

I'm sure I'd dislike both equally! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

So I am gathering you don't drink coffee at all?

Looks like a great breakfast though. I've still not been to Kona. Ever. But... unless we can change a dinner ADR we won't be able to see the castle lighting ceremony at all on our upcoming trip. And as far as available MK area ADR's go, they are few and far between. :scratchin

Seriously; listen to me. GO! And don't wait forever like I did. I don't think Tim will ever forgive me for that.

Looks like a nice, relaxing day before your EMH. You should have been napping and then loading up on caffeine before hitting the park though. Why waste valuable MK time at Starbucks???? :sad2:

I wasted no value MK time, my friend. I take it slow my first day at the MK to take it all in. And it took less than 5 minutes to order and get my drink. ::yes:: And I probably wouldn't have needed the caffeine if it weren't for my dinner beverage. ;)

You did a good job planning your evening though. I always love JC and BTMRR after dark. Totally different ride experiences from the daytime. :thumbsup2

Yes they are.

I love seeing the Tangled rest area pics. It was probably the ONE thing that we missed in August and I am so completely bummed out about it! We had plans to go back after our dinner on our last night but it was pouring rain, we were already wet and had no desire to trudge through the parks so mama could see the lights ;)

You didn't pass it at all while you were there? You need to make a point of it next time. And look for the hidden Pascals too.

Didn't you just have a whole pot of Kona?:confused3

No, I did not; that was at breakfast. It was now 7 p.m.

Good one!

Thanks, Mark.

Obviously Starbucks has ruined your taste buds. :rotfl2::rotfl:

Hey hey hey there; I don't like Ohanas either. So there! :rolleyes1

:rotfl2::lmao: The pressure is on!

Yes it is. I ain't getting any younger either.

that is awesome news for both of you. Way to go Mark. I am still trying to catch up only on page 15 so far. I am so sorry about all the bad news your family has been getting. You are in my thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

Hi Mom V. Mark is very excited; although I think he's enjoyed being home too. But perhaps a bit tired of doing the laundry and cooking. :rotfl: Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. They have mom on a small dose of morphine for her pain, but she was sitting up at the kitchen table last night.

Rides galore!! I love them all, even your least favorite one. :rotfl2: Although, that one can be a one per trip ride. No more necessary!

Oh we haven't done my least favorite one yet (and if I remember correctly we only did it ONCE!).

There's something about popcorn in the MK that makes it all the more special. Waiting for a parade and fireworks doesn't hurt, either. :goodvibes

The best popcorn on the planet; I swear they spring it with pixie dust.

I am so envious of you with how often you and Mark are able to travel to Florida.;) For us in two more years Alyssa will be in college and Carolyn and I will be able to head down there twice a year. ::yes::

:laughing: wait until you see before my next update...I've added another trip.

Wonderful!! I did love your pictures from this time.

Thanks friend.

Oh my stars! I just had to edit a post a few pages back; looks like I typed a bad word instead of the word shots, as in photos! Super embarrassed!

I wondered about that. :lmao::lmao::lmao: It happens to the best of us.

Hi Kathy! Seems like a relaxing night at MK, and yet you got quite a few rides in. :cool1: I love BTMRR at night!

:wave2: Tammie. It was a great start to our evening.

It's funny when you don't care for something you have heard raved about on the DIS - it makes you feel un-DIS-like! :rotfl2: For me it's the Zebra domes. I won't wait in a huge line for the Dole Whip, though.

Yes, I thought there was something wrong wtih me; but hubby doesn't like them either. And neither Mark or I like the Zebra Domes.

What is it about men and flipping channels? How can they possibly watch 25 shows?

Mark's famous line is "do you want to watch the commercials?" And my answer is yes...because then you turn it back too late and we miss something. Seriously!

Praying for your mom - I'm sorry to hear she is in so much pain, glad the morphine is helping.

Thank you Tammie.

I hate when a popular ride is closed when we are there. It's just an excuse for you to book another trip. :)

Im less than 30 days out and I couldnt be more excited or more under pressure at the same time! Im gonna have to find me a shirt just like that!! :)

K

We got that shirt at a souvenir shop next to a Starbucks (its the same road as the shopping center that is across from the Downtown Disney area.

Kathy, I can't believe you don't like Dole Whips!! I thought every DIS-er loves them!

I guess I am a bad DISer.

Love the ride choices for the evening. Big Thunder Mountain is so great at night!

It really is; love seeing the castle from BTMR.

You guys will make the BEST grandparents!

Awww...thanks.

Jungle Cruise at night is our favorite! I love Jungle Cruise but we really only do it at night now and I think it makes it way better.

It is a better ride at night. :)

You are hitting all my fav spots. Seems like a perfect night to me!

It had been a perfect night, Maddie. Will it continue?

Before I get on to the next update, I want to update you on our plans for next year.

Obviously, from the title of my TR, we are going back. We had thought of taking a year off and going to Disneyland after visiting Mary, Jeff and the girls in Arizona. Then Mark lost his job. And California is going to be expensive. Therefore, we decided to put it off until my 60th birthday. So, we are going to Phoenix for a little less than a week in March to see Mary, etc., and then Mark and I will go to Marco Island for nine days in October and then go to Disney for 8 days after Marco. And the best part of that...we will see Nicki and Todd in Marco and then spend four days with them at Food & Wine. Then I started thinking. I've so used to 3 or 4 trips a year and I couldn't stand the thought of not seeing Nicki for an entire year. So with Mark's okay and Nicki and Todd welcoming me, I will spend their trip to Disney in May for Todd's birthday with them. Todd will love having one of us on each arm and drinking our way through Epcot. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: As of now, the plan is I will stay at the Boardwalk Villas in May and although the Boardwalk would be ideal for October and Food & Wine, I think we are going to stay at Old Key West because Mark really likes it there and it is less points. So going from only one trip next year anywhere, I now have three...and two of those are Disney World.

I left you off with us finishing up with Haunted Manion and walking past the Tangled restrooms. It was time to try to find a spot for the castle show and Wishes. This was Mark's reaction when he saw the crowds:

Yep, guess we should have skipped Haunted Mansion and the restroom break. Oh well, we will deal with what we get. We were kind of off to the right in the hub. So my pictures are not great, but I'll post the best of the bunch.

The Castle Show:

Yes, that's the best of the lot. I had a really tall guy who decided to stand right in front of me and it really made taking pictures difficult. We thought of moving for Wishes, but figured we'd end up in a worse spot yet so we stayed put. Luckily, tall guy went away. I didn't take nearly the pictures I usually do, even witih the new camera, because I really just wanted to enjoy the show. But I took some and I also got the best shot of Tinker that I've ever gotten.

We let some of the crowd disperse and then made our way towards New Fantasyland. Of course, having the Memory Maker, I insisted we stop for a picture

My camera

Photopass camera

There was a special reason we were going towards the New Fantasyland. It would be Mark's FIRST ride on the Mine Ride. He was very excited that I got our final FP+ for this evening for the Mine Ride.

I don't know why this pictured turnedn out with the dark faces???

I have our MM photo of the Mine Ride and the video but obviously haven't downloaded those yet. I'll post them later.

Continued in next post

Mark loved the Mine Ride. His only complaints: 1) a little too short of a ride and 2) the seats are a little tight for larger people. But he thought it fit perfectly in the New Fantasyland and was anxious to ride it again later in the trip.

From there, we decided to go see a Mermaid. But on the way, we finally got this photo

Everytime previously that I had tried to get it, there were always people in the way.

We stopped in Belle's gift shop where the hat guy came out

We stopped for another photopass pic:

And then it was time to go see Ariel and her friends

Then it was time to go here

It was time for Mark's all time favorite

Continued in next post

We weren't done yet. We still had a bit left in us. So we headed here:

And oh what a great ride it was. I FINALLY BEAT MARK! I not only beat him...I whooped his butt. He was not happy and informed me he would get his revenge later in the trip. The question is: did he?

We moved on from Buzz to

This is not something I need to do every year, but I was hoping that Mark might be That Guy (unfortunately he was not).

We had then reached our limit. It was midnight, one hour short of EMH's ending, but this was the longest Mark and I had made it in a long time.

Once last photo of the Castle on this glorious night

Walking down Main Street USA

Oh, but let's stop for one more PP photo

Goodnight MK, see you later in the week

We took the Ferry Boat back to the TTC and walked to our car and back to AK for the night. It was a great first full day at the World with good food and great rides.

Up next, a new ADR for breakfast for us

What a fabulous night at MK!!!
The lines must have shortened up for EMH so you could do all those rides after fireworks.

Your PP shots are so cute!

Great that you get a bonus trip!! I love when that works out so nicely!

Good luck to Mark on his new job. I want my daughters to work at Target when they're old enough. We live about 1/2 mile from one so they don't have to drive there, plus I NEED the discount! :)

Looks like a really fun but crowded night! I hate when tall people get in front of me! Glad he moved before Wishes.

Jill in CO

Gosh, you two fit in quite a few rides that first day. :thumbsup2

Mark's expression when seeing the crowds is priceless and that "tall guy" getting in front of you seems to be something happening quite often nowadays.

Love that Mark got to ride Dumbo and the hat he sported in the shop is just too funny!

And ..... congratulations on your trips for next year! You picked some great ones and it is going to be so much fun!
Plus it means more TRs for me to read! :woohoo:
