They have been in the school for about two years now, so everything is very nice. Lots of great technology!

Ruthie, I know you love Chef Micky's, but what other places have you eaten? I'm trying to decide if I want to spend my money for one table service. Our Quick Service dining plan is free. I'm trying to decide if I should try someplace new, or just go with an old favorite since I'm not using a dining plan to pay for it.

We've done the following:

Ohana (B and D)
Hoop De Doo
Boma (D)
Crystal Palace (B and D)
Chef Mickey's (B and D)
Hollywood and Vine (D)
Cinderella's Royal Table (B)
and Donald's Breakfastosaurus (Back when they called it that)

That's all I can think of right now...

First----really nice how the middle school open house went, seems like a good way to introduce the "newbies" with the older kids there & the different groups, my oldest DD had it in her head to join band once...I'll never forget it...chose the cello :lmao: was bigger then her! she then found her calling with chorus :)

I DO love Chef Mickeys but have eaten a LOT of places...are you asking character meals or TS.....what kind of food...your turn then maybe I can help...just saw your list, been to them & many more....still looking for B,L,or D...character or not?

Doesn't have to be character, but I really don't care to be honest. Can be lunch or dinner. I don't want to shell out bucks for breakfast. We'll just do a quick run at our resort for that. Since DD will be an "adult" this time, I'll have to shell out more. I should probably look at a buffet so we can get our money's worth.

You know what I highly recommend ? & it won't break the bank at all.if you can ..In DTD is Earl of Sandwich ever been? Everything is homemade right there & it is fantastic. DH & I have been known to drive there (its abt 25 miles one way) just to eat.

I keep hearing EOS is good as well as W. Puck Cafe. I put WPC on my list on our DTD day already for free dining. I'll have to study the menus some more. Once DD finds out about the trip on her 5th grade graduation day, I'll let her look on and help me decide between the two menus. She's a picky one!

I really enjoyed the Crystal Palace dinner last time. It was good. I guess I could do without the Pooh fest...lol! Nothing against them... I also loved Boma!

Yes, I just type : then faint then another : :faint:

I have the menus saved in my favorites too! I keep looking at them each night. When I went online to look at availability for TS, I saw that things are booking up. With all the QS, I wanted one night for TS.

:rotfl: we did that at the same time :rotfl:

Have you made arrangements for a birthday cake?

No, her birthday isn't until February. I did tell the CM on the phone that she was going to middle school. The CM marked it as a graduation celebration. I guess she'll get a button, and maybe some magic will come her way.:wizard:

You know what I was combining your ticker info with Sharons....her birthday is in 2 weeks ;) try to do Cape May it is really really good I think you all will like it

Oh my goodness! It's after 11:30. I am going to absolutely hate my alarm clock in the morning. I hope I don't throw it across the room. My poor dog wouldn't know what was happening! :rotfl:

No characters for dinner, right? I need to see what it's close to so I can figure out which day to go. Is it a buffet?

Yes & I think there aren't characters at dinner BUT things change so fast at WDW not always for the better I would double check with dining
