Fred should be coming home in a week for 4 day stretch..can't believe haven't seen him in 6 or 7 weeks..actually miss him

Fantastic that he's back. Is he staying for long or does he have to go back out to work again?

2 load of done, one more load in the washing maching. We'll do that tomorrow. It's winter here and washing is taking forever to dry; we don't want to continuously run the dryer (greenies here). And it actually has been raining in Melbourne...who would have guessed? We've been in drought for the last 13 years or so.

It's strange. When I take the motrin, my throat feels close to normal, but I cough most of the day. I haven't taken a motrin since yesterday afternoon. I start to get hopeful, then all of a sudden I feel it sneaking back on me. Compared to two weeks ago, I'm taking one motrin a day as opposed to one every six hours (or 4 times a day). So it seems as though I could say I am getting better. I'm surprised it's taking so long. The scratchy throat actually started three weeks ago this Sunday. It didn't progress until the end of the that week which is exactly two weeks ago. Sigh...

I'm still coughing. It's been 5 or 6 weeks now....and am only now just starting to feel normal. My throat felt the same and my tonsils were also inflamed; the antibiotics helped calm it down within 2 days.

Thank God I can say I don't get sick often but when I do (and now that you're on vacation you might try this) I give myself a 24 hr - 48 hr mental & physical health break...do nothing walk around in pjs sleep when my body tells me to, drink juice, watch old movies, just basically let myself "shut down" and re-coup you know what I mean? and yes Chicken Soup by the gallons do I have to drive up there and make you take care of yourself ??

No, Ruthie. I'll do better-lol. I need to replinish the chicken soup though. I'll do that after rehearsal in the morning. I'll still be "lip-singing" but I've got to learn these songs for the CD. I've got to travel a little ways to my Dad's to pick up my DD on Monday. I'll stay there a couple of nights before heading back here. We'll be leaving my furbaby with Grandpa since we'll be leaving the following week. Anyway, I will be in complete chill mode once I get home tomorrow.
