tornado watch seems to be lifted but severe thunderstorms my county until 2 am....news said there were 151 lightning strikes in past 15 minutes...think I'll sign off & check in later....

The tornado siren is literally.... LITERALLY behind our house.

Thankfully it's only gone off twice since we've lived here for a real emergency.

but they do test it every Wed. at noon...and whoa... if you forget and are in the backyard It is LOUD!!

I have forgotten about it have been caught out there before and literally scream when it goes off

Hey Oz are you excited we are both headed to Disney realllll soon!! You will be leaving before me though I am soooo supercalifragilisticexpialidociously happy and can not wait!!!!!! I really hope we have good weather and no bad storms. it seems like your getting some pretty bad weather there Ruthie. I don't like thunderstorms and really hate them when my DH is not home! I hope your doing ok with him away. Ness, glad your warning expired!

I gave up trying to use the DisBoard tickers. You try and do the right thing but it only goes so far....So, I went to VacationCountdown and used theirs instead.

I need to get 80% packing done today. 2 days of work and one day of last minute running around and then I fly out. If packing isn't done today, I'll be completely off schedule for Thursday. House looks like a bomb has hit it...clothes and washing EVERYWHERE!
