Sounds like my going out to dinner to go to the grocery store, and Kim's going to get dog food so she can look at furniture!!! only this time its YOUR DH!!!

I have to hide it from both the two cats and the DH this time!!! -- ok, DH actually knows I am going, and the two boys -- not so much, otherwise they would be camping out in the suitcases!!!

I would never consider joining a gym if it didn't have a pool. That's what I would use the most. But there's only one gym in town that does have a pool but that's the problem - it's in town. Where I work is just on the edge of town - my edge of town. And it would mean that I would actually have to go into town after to work to go to the gym and I just don't think I'd stick with it. If it was on my way home, I might.

my requirements have always been a pool (#1) and long operating hours (#2) since I keep weird hours. I am going to go over there and check out the pricing and hours and such (read- what's the cancelation policy ). We'll see.

I think you get more ice because you don't have the long deep freeze that we have... I could be wrong, but I think it stays either snow or wet here more so than by you. I of course only drove through NC from TN once several years ago, so I am not an expert on NC weather.

You're probably right, because we don't get that deep freeze for weeks on end. We get cold weather, and big snowfalls, but then it warms up, snow goes away and it dries up.

DH and Matthew have worked outside most of today because it's been so nice - high 40's. But Tuesday we'll be back in the teens at night and a wintry mix.

You need to come through NC - and stop this time - so you can be an expert on NC weather!
