I took this picture on NYE - my house

This is the garland on the front fence. The bulbs are about 6 inches long. I love the way the snow falls on them.

I need to figure out what I am bringing to FL. I should go down and grab my suitcase.... maybe when DH goes out....

I want to join the new Gym near the house, but will I really use it??? It has a pool, which is what I said I always wanted if I joined a Gym. I enjoy doing laps..... :confused3

That's 15 years of unused sick days, we still need a note for more than 3 days, and you can not use a PB day before or after a holiday or break- then they role over into sick days if unused at the end of the calendar year.

DH has sick days galore too! Any unused vacation days or holidays roll over into sick days at the end of the year for him too. He could be off for years!

vent away.....

Thanks, I really needed to!

I understand... usually I go in because there is so much to do, and get sent home :rotfl: But then they end up calling a dozen times or so. The last time they did that I asked the Assistant principal if they were charging me my sick day since I spent most of the day on the phone to various people at school :rotfl:

I should get clocked in for some of the calls I get! The manager calls me on my days off for the dumbest things sometimes - he never even thinks twice about calling.

What a jerk - he was worried about his own leaving early and not how you were feeling.

But the thing is, it still wouldn't have held him up from leaving early. He can't step in and do my job. He doesn't have a clue how to do half of what I do. The co-manager knows more than he does and he's the one that would have gotten stuck.

You are always covering for people, staying late, or going in early - even when you go shopping you get sucked in!! The nerve of him!

::yes::

He was so happy he would still get to leave early. What a *&%*!!!!

Again... ::yes::

That's called HIM BEING LAZY!!!

And once again... ::yes::

I don't think you should have had to find coverage if its not the policy

We have one employee who calls in sick or goes home early because she is "sick" two or three times a month. She never has to find someone to cover.

DON'T Let him USE YOU!!!

You sound like my DH!

He sounds like he knows how to push your buttons, and that makes me mad!! He's luck I am 1700 miles away!!!

My DH won't even step foot in the store. DH knows if he sees him he'll lose it!

But I understand the economy makes us put up with a lot more lately.

Boy, does it ever! I have been watching job postings for this area since September. There weren't too many then but there's even less now. Especially if I don't want to take a cut in pay.

It would bug me too.

That's good to know. I was wondering if I was just being too sensitive.

At least you got coverage (even though you shouldn't have had to worry about it) and you all are feeling better.

::yes::

Next time he calls in sick ask him who is covering for HIM!!!

He conveniently always schedules another manager there when he is there. Rarely is he in the store more than an hour or so by himself. So, if he's sick there's always a back-up for him!

:hug: Any time!!! That's what friends are for!!! :hug:

Thanks! :hug: I just really needed to know that I'm justified in feeling the way I do.
