And here we've had more Military knife in the back....... DS is not coming home this Friday

-it just seems like he'll never be coming home :guilty:

-but He said this time He saw his ticket and it is now set for the Monday night, maybe Tues :sad2:

This STRESS is really starting to wear me down-I swear if I have to switch out anymore days-or change dates/times on tickets -or buy more tickets I will be a total mess by the time he arrives :headache:

Heck-I'm a mess already  It's not been an easy 3 weeks trying to figure this all out

Oh, Kim, I'm sorry!

But does that mean he'll be able to stay home the same length of time or is this mix-up shortening his time home? :confused3

Oh Well....that the Military for you- nothing you can do about it :headache:

it's not just the physical demands-it's the mind games they play with you that really get to you, it's the thing I hated most about it when we were active duty :sad2:

He still gets his entire 30 days off-But now it looks like He'll be home for X-mas and I'll have to work X-mas eve and X-mas since I switched to get Thanksgiving off with him-Ughhhh!!!!

I've always said I couldn't take that stress. Not that being married to a cop isn't stressful - but it's a different kind of stress!

But at least he'll still be home for 30 days! :yay: And Christmas Eve is just a day - you can always adjust plans if you need to. DH has had to work many Christmas Eves and Christmases. I can remember getting the kids up at 4 in the morning to see what Santa brought because DH had to leave for work at 6 a.m. :lmao:

Just make Christmas eve when you can!

I keep looking at my work schedule to see who I can beg to switch, but the pickins are slim to none-and I'm still not sure when He'll be flying out-it may be X-mas eve-I told him to ask them to let him return on Dec 26th so he doesn't have to fly on X-mas, but we'll see-things that make sense to us don't applied to the Military

It's just still up in the air until he's home and has hard copy of orders in his hands-hopefully by Monday :wizard:

I've done this before too when I've had to work when the kids were so young-They had to stay in their rooms until I came home-watched them unwrap everything and then headed to bed so I could head back to work in 10 hrs-fun fun-NOT!

Police and Nurses have very similar schedules

But we will make the most of it and I can always catch up on my sleep later!!!

Some how Some way it will all work out in the end!!!! ;)
