Kimmar's getting in trouble on another thread...

...SeaSpray had started a thread about a 10 days ago that her DS had a girlfriend and they were planning on going to the prom together. A week before the prom (which took place on Friday night) she dumped him, especially after he had paid for EVERYTHING, so SeaSpray was concerned whether he should still go (ask another girl or go 'stag', etc.). Long story short, they were back on speaking terms so he decided to go with her after all. She posted a couple of pre-prom pix that night, which by the way, were very lovely - everything still hunkie-dory...next day there was a note on her DS's bedroom door (to which we still don't know what exactly happened!) that he didn't want anyone asking him questions, but the prom apparently was a DISASTER!....she did say a couple of not-so-nice things about the GF (or ex-GF!), understandably because what this girl put her DS through...meanwhile they(SeaSpray) went to WDW today - so now, EVERYONE was on that thread blasting her and warning her, etc. and how this girl's parents could sue her, yada-yada-yada.....I expressed, very honestly, that although I didn't necessarily agree with what she said about the girl, it was kinda lame to blast SeaSpray, especially since she is on vacation, and can't even 'fight back' or rescind her words, or delete the pic, or apologize, or ANYTHING...needless to say - IT GOT UGLY! I don't know what was said beyond what I had posted, so I don't really know the outcome, except the fact that a mod or Webmaster had not closed it, but deleted the whole thread!

I need a new battery for my laptop

Me too! It only holds a charge for about half an hour!

Same here. I told my laptop with me this weekend and it wouldn't power up with out the AC cord plugged in and than the battery light just kept flashing red. Looked it up and it appears the battery is shot.

Looked them up and didn't really like the price that Dell was quoting. Going to look around before I buy one.

I had glanced at the quote of your post (about prom) before I started to read back this morning. Poor SeaSpray! Some people can get so mean. I remember two years ago when I posted about DSs internet project fiasco...some people blasted me - and it can be really hurtful!

WOW! Like I said in my previous post - people can get so mean! I know from experience! But the fact that she had posted some pre-prom pics of the girl and then said some not-so-nice things about the girl could open up a world of problems if the girl, or her parents, found out she had posted pics.

Wonder what SeaSpray will have to say when she gets back and finds that the whole thread was deleted!
