But we got to see an outstanding firefly display this evening-it looked like Christmas in June all the trees were lite up and sparkling-very nice:thumbsup2

OK-I'm pretty tired -maybe I'll check in tomm-Hope to talk to you then :wave2:

Morning all

Kathy -- YOur going on another cruise???
what cruise line are you using??

We are kind of just in the thinking stages of it! ;) Matthew's next for me to take. After the cruise last fall with just Andrew I promised the other two boys that I would take them both on a cruise - individually - and it was decided Matthew would be next. We were really planning for next fall or spring but with him just starting high school it's going to be hard for him to miss so much time - so we decided to see if we can swing it this summer.

Once we get our passports we'll know for sure if we can do it this summer.

I think we're going to either do a Carnival Cruise (which is what Andrew and I went on) or a Royal Caribbean cruise. DCL is just too expensive right now for us (more than double the other two). I'd really like to be able to take A.J. on a Disney Cruise though. Matthew is leaning towards the Royal Caribbean because they have a rock climbing wall and a basketball court on the ship!

hit enter before I was done

Let me know how you like it
I was very unimpressed with DCL but maybe someday I could
get the family to try another line

The Carnival Cruise we went on was pretty nice. The ship was a little dated - very loud colors! But the food was fantastic and the room was comfortable. And for the price of their cruises - especially compared to DCL - I think it was worth it. (Even though I didn't have to pay for that one! ;) ) You can get a 3 day Bahama cruise for less than $400 and 4 day for less than $500!

Morning :wave2:

-Well my Parents made it in town yesterday and I'm telling you my house has not been cleaner since we moved in-I managed to clean every closet and we made a lot of donations to Goodwill:thumbsup2

Glad they arrived safely!

and man is it Hot here-96 yesterday and Hot again today-Heading to NC to escape the heat!!!

Don't expect to much relief up here from the heat! :sad2: Even up here in the mountains we're hitting 90!

Kathy-I didn't know you where going on another cruise-good for you!! Is your DH going too???:confused3

miss a couple of days and I'm out of the loop :3dglasses

Nope - DH isn't going. Don't think he ever will! :sad2: But he did give me the "go-ahead" to go without him! ;) He says he doesn't care - as long as he doesn't have to go! :lmao:

It was so nice to be able to go last fall with just Andrew. So I want to be able to do that with each of the other boys as well. And Andrew and I have decided that after the cruises are done maybe we'll start doing some other trips like this. Maybe I'll get over my fear of flying!

I've never been on a cruise!

We really enjoyed it! And the food....OMG!!!! :goodvibes The food was great!

Did I mention the food was great?

Did I mention how much food there was?

Did I mention you could get room service 24/7?

Did I mention I love food? :rotfl2:

The food alone is worth the trip!

BY THE WAY - THE FOOD WAS GREAT!

;)

That's cool you got weekend off. :thumbsup2

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I've got so much to do but it is going to be so hot here again today! I hate the heat! And our house doesn't have air conditioning! (Most around here don't because it doesn't usually get this hot here!)

I can't believe how hot it is here! :sad2:

Lucky you! They haven't really started up here yet. We've only seen a few. It's so relaxing to sit outside and just watch them!

Just hung a load of clothes out on the line. Had to buy another clothesline yesterday and as soon as DH gets up he's going to put that one up so I can hang out some more! The dryer part didn't come in yet so it looks like I'll be without a dryer for about ten more days. We're going out of town Wednesday for three days so they probably won't be able to get it taken care of for us before we go. Oh, well, so far hanging the laundry out hasn't been too bad.

Wow - really slow day around here!

Matthew's at his mowing job and I've started doing some window washing.

DH just finally gave in ;) and told me to go ahead and call to reserve a boat for tomorrow! :cool1: We're going to rent a pontoon boat and go out on the lake!

....my bedroom looks like my closet THREW UP all over it....I'm cleaning out my closet and getting rid of the jeans and other stuff that I keep telling myself that SOMEDAY I'll fit into again.....:rolleyes1
