Still reading back so I'm hoping there's an update.

dad is out of surgery, he is recovering, doctors said all went well, and that he should be awake in the next few hours.

It's raining (again)

Sorry. We've been having lots of rain here, too, but today we haven't had any!

and my dad has two large black eyes!!! but is doing well.

Sorry about the black eyes but glad he's doing well. How long will he be in the hospital??

Pam glad to hear your Dad's surgery went well

-same here on this side of the fence-SIL had her surgery yesterday and is recovering nicely-she can finally move her leg without extreme pain!!!!

and they took out as much if the tumor as they could get a hold of-which has seemed to helped so far-I pray it does!!!!

Glad to hear the update. Maybe the break was a blessing in disguise with them being able to get some of the tumor out.

I'll continue to keep her and your family in my prayers Kim!

SIL is continuing to do Great! And the Surgeon came in and gave her an update-says He thinks he was able to dig out most of the tumor and then refill the hole it left with some kind cement-it took overa cup to fill it!!!!

and she's getting up without any problem and should be D/C'd tomm!!!!

And Kyle loved his presents-we really pulled one over him too!!!

Catie went to get his present as he sat waiting-it was the drawing tablet for the computer and he was so excited!

and since he wasn't expecting the Rock Band gift-Catie and I set him up!!!!

Since I needed to clean up the house I asked the Kids to put their shoes in the hall closet-Catie had stashed the present in there...

So Kyle goes and puts his shoes away opens the door throws them in and closes the door-doesn't see anything!!!


So I told him-No, no you put those away right on the self (right in front of the present!)

He jumped back and just stood there staring at it!!! It was Priceless!!!!

I had a pretty good day at work today! I wish every day at work could go that well!

Sorry about the black eyes but glad he's doing well. How long will he be in the hospital??

His memory is coming back slowly, but will probably not ever be 100% as its been a little over a year since the initial anurism (sp?) and his memory never came back 100% then, but as long as he doesn't lose anymore. he was feeling well enough to sit up and do short walks to the chair and back, and everything seems to be draining nicely. Hopefully he will be able to come back home on Tuesday or Wednesday.
