...... awesome! Soooo, are ya a nervous wreck already?!?!?

Not a nervous wreck because he's going....but I am a nervous wreck because of all we have going on this next month!

*Matthew's Middle School Prom
*Matthew's got an end of year drama thing but the date hasn't been announced yet
*Matthew's end-of-year (major) rock climbing trip (naturally on the same day as A.J.'s prom)
*Matthew's 8th grade graduation (so far it looks like it's going to be the evening of Memorial Day but not definite yet)
*A.J.'s senior prom
*A.J.'s FFA Banquet
*A.J.'s capping ceremony (Andrew is doing the capping)
*A.J.'s Paths class dinner
*A.J.'s Senior Breakfast
*A.J.'s Graduation
*Project Graduation (an all night fun activity at the university after graduation to encourage seniors not to drink, to stay off the roads and have a safe fun night - A.J. can't really go to something like this on his own so I'll be up all night! )
*And finally the "Graduation Party and Thank You Celebration" that we are having for A.J. It has taken a life of its own because I've been inviting so many people! We've had to move it from our house to the elementary school cafeteria! We want to invite all of the people that have helped A.J. make it to this point in his life - his teachers, past and present, some administrators that have really fought for him, a few members of the school board, everyone at our church and naturally all of our friends!!!

I'm still working on the invitations for the party and I'm having some trouble figuring out the perfect wording. But I want to word it so that people know that this is a thank you celebration more than a graduation party and what they've done for A.J. and for us over the years is the best gift we could ask for - therefore, please no gifts. Any suggestions???

So the work day (and work week!!) are over. It is time for a few quick errands before dinner tonight.

I will be away on a business trip next week, so will not be posting as much, well, probably not at all during the day. I will be on at night at times, and hope to see some of you here!

I looked back over that list I posted and realized I had even forgotten a few things! Then I think I went into panic mode!

Great News about AJ-A Date for the prom

We just got home from shopping! Spent a fortune!

Ordered A.J.'s tux. We went with the basic formal black tux - black pants, black jacket, black vest, white shirt and black bow tie!

....and we also got Matthew's pants, shirt, belt and shoes for his middle school prom.

....and we got A.J.'s dress shoes for his graduation. (Now we just need dress pants, a belt and a dress shirt for him - maybe a new tie).

....and we got Andrew's dress shoes and belt for the capping ceremony. (Now we just need dress pants and a dress shirt for him - maybe a new tie for him as well!)

I'm having such a hard time finding a dress to wear to A.J.'s graduation. I finally found one at JCPenney.com and when I went to order it they said it was unavailable.
