I was on here until you guys came on. We just had TV repair guy come look at our 2nd big TV. It will cost $450 to repair it and it's at least 5 years old Fran is pricing 3D TVs right now.

3D TV? Are you and Fran into 3D? We're going to have to change our TV sometime this year as Australia is switching off the analogue networks and going full digital. We'll probably wait to see what happens in the future....

They did that here a couple years ago, it was a mess. The government offered some sort of voucher for a digital box for those who couldn't afford it and then had to put off the upgrade because not everyone was ready.

I don't know that we're into 3D, but in almost 15 years I've learned that we do whatever Fran wants. Unless I have strong objections, I don't argue with what she wants. The drag is that it is almost 5PM and she is out at the library and posting flyers for our concert in the neighborhood businesses. We're not going to go get the TV until after she gets back so you can imagine what that will do to our dinner time!

We're trying to do a Toy Story Marathon, Arline has NEVER seen the movies! We finished #1 when the TV arrived, so just in time. We'll probably start #2 after we finish watching Iron Chef.

Another DS piano recital to go out for. And then I'm hoping to head into the city to celebrate the winter solstice....there's a celebration planned in the city square.
